Nigel and Andrew Peck recently won the inaugural Nicholas Peck Memorial Trophy. Well done!

After a lovely invitation, Brian and I had the pleasure to drop into Davey's Bay Yacht Club (DBYC) a couple of weeks back to see the new refurbished and renovated club and watch the Flying Fifteens race for the inaugural Nicholas Peck Trophy. The club, with a substantial amount of funds spent, is just delightful and the expansion is just fitting to the secluded location in Davey's Bay. The Nicholas Peck trophy, a legacy of the son, of our first FFI-V Life Member, Nigel Peck AM is raced annually and Nigel at the ripe old age of 83 usually competes; this year with his nephew Andrew, the conditions were ideal for Nigel, and he certainly has not lost his touch and came up trumps in 'Foxy lll'. Of the first three place getters of the day, two were senior sailors of the DBYC well over 75 years
