An inspirational fun junior coaching event on- & off-water, the iSail Lidgett Trophy offers coaching & racing for “advanced”, “intermediate”, “novice blue” & “novice green” sailors. All entrants receive a participation memento.
  • Davey's Bay Yacht Club (DBYC) invites online (only) entries from Optimist, Minnow and Sabot sailors:
  • Event is not a beginner / introductory ‘learn-to-sail’ activity. Novices should have sailed previously.
  • Entries subject to 2017 iSail Lidgett Trophy Notice of Race. Entry numbers are strictly limited.
  • When entering, please pre-order t-shirts, lunch and Saturday night dinner (regularly sold-out pre-event).
  • Boats can be dropped at DBYC prior to event - access times, details & low tide times in Notice of Race

Coach Groups: When entering you will be asked to nominate one of the following coaching levels:
  • Advanced: sailor is focussed on racing and can handle tougher weather conditions.
  • Intermediate: sailor is comfortable in most conditions and is keen to improve general racing.
  • Novice Blue: sailor can sail to windward comfortably & complete a course.
  • Novice Green: sailor can sail, but may not yet be able to complete a true windward course.

Coaches & Power Boats: Event runs thanks to voluntary support of clubs, classes, coaches &  parents.
  • If coaching - if you or your club / class can assist, please email Jeni Danks jeni@efg.com.au
  • power boat(s) - kindly register you and your boat’s details (type, length, engine size, whether it has a radio) by emailing Peter Danks peter@efg.com.au. Power boat drivers must have a power boat license.
