Davey's Bay hosts local schools competing in the John and Helen Middleton Team Racing Trophy. Schools compete throughout Terms 1&4 on Wednesday nights in the fleet of Davey's Bay Pacer dinghies. Team racing consists of at least 6 sailors per team. 
Davey's Bay also hosts the Super Saturday Team Racing Event in February each year.
